Cardiovascular Associates’ Lipid Clinic specializes in evaluating and treating patients with high cholesterol. Our trained nurses, under the direct supervision of Dr. John Furiasse, run the Lipid Clinic. Quarterly follow-up visits focus on reinforcing lifestyle and diet modifications and determine the efficacy of drug treatment.

Services provided include:

  • Rapid analysis of cholesterol and liver function tests via finger-stick
  • Physical assessment with Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation and vital signs
  • Medication review and adjustment
