For those patients who take Coumadin, Cardiovascular Associates offers a special clinic to help manage the dosage and monitor your blood's clotting ability. Cardiovascular Associates’ Coumadin Clinic is run by specially trained nurses and supervised by our physicians. Clinic appointments. Coumadin clinics have been shown to be effective in the control of blood thinning, resulting in fewer problems from either inadequate or excessive blood clotting (anticoagulation).
